This Tokyo Metropolitan Government program accepts a blood sample collected at home and provides the result online. Eligibility is limited to people who live, work or study in Tokyo. The published application and return deadlines are February 28 and March 22, 2027, respectively, and capacity is limited. Check current availability with the program.

The program screens for HIV only. If the result calls for a blood draw, arrange follow-up testing at a medical facility. Ask a clinic or public health center how to interpret a negative result obtained early after exposure.
